Summary
After killing James and Lily Potter, Voldemort realises that perhaps their child, who is prophesied to be his demise, will serve better under his care than that of Dumbledore.
Thirty years later, Harry has achieved the highest rank among Death Eaters, as the Dark Lord’s right-hand man in a wizarding war with seemingly no end. But Voldemort’s body, damaged by excessive dark magic, is decaying, and he has spent the last few decades trying to find a way for himself to live on through his ‘son’.
