    Summary

Ghost was breathing harshly, in and out through his nose. He looked like a ticking bomb, he leaned further in, boxing Soap against the car with his broad frame, but Soap didn’t back down, “like you could drive it better, Johnny?” Ghost seethed, the plastic on his helmet cracking under his harsh grip, “you couldn’t even get it around the track I bet.”

He looked deep into those brown eyes he loved. Pointed towards the car, “I cannae drive? I know every fuckin’ thing about it, probably spent more time in it than you, I bet I could get a good time around track if I was allowed to actually drive it!”

Had he driven a F1 car? A few meters, absolutely, had he ever reached a higher speed than 30 km an hour, absolutely not. But he spoke some truth, he knew the car down to the minuscule details. He knew how it worked. It couldn’t be too hard in practice. Right?

Soap cockily thinks he can drive a formula 1 car, and gets the chance to prove it

“You had a nightmare, and you told me the same thing. You said I died, Gaz died, you died. I thought that was just it; it was your nightmare, but…”

“D’ye think I’m crazy?” John forced his eyes back open, looking at Simon.

    “Should I?”

    “It wasn’t a dream.”

How do you tell a dog from an SAS sergeant?

Soap's been trying to think of a punchline, but so far, all he's got is a dog’s gotta shit in the woods and bury it slightly more often than an SAS Sergeant.
