Castiel opens his eyes and meets brown, red ringed ones directly in front of his own—He flinches back against the wall and something rattles, causing the pain in his neck to become all the more noticeably irritating.A man crouches over his splayed legs, staring directly at his face. For a moment, the man just stares, his tongue briefly jutting out across his lips before going back into his mouth which stretches into a smile at Castiel, the corners pushing over his white teeth. In retrospect, Castiel was correct to fear the power of sight.
All he sees is hunger.
