Tavern owner (and fallen goddess) Elizabeth wasn't sure what she was expecting when a kid in rusted armor scared away all of her customers, but joining him on the adventure she'd been itching to have certainly wasn't it. But hey, it seems a little more interesting than waiting for Fate to find her, so why not?
Wanderer (and runaway prince) Meliodas didn't quite know what to do when he woke up in an unfamiliar tavern, a talking pig and a beautiful winged woman at his side, and he definitely didn't mean to tell her everything about his quest. Still, he's not about to turn down some help from such an interesting pair of characters.
Of course, things quickly go from just plain "interesting" to pretty goddamn exciting for these two.

2B discovers her grave. 9S is 9Sheepish about it.
"The fic explores the emotional aftermath after Route E as 2B stumbles upon 9S' gesture of grief and tribute, with 9S being greatly uncomfortable about it. It touches on their individual guilt and how they are both unused to openly talking about the way they feel. Somewhat of a fix-it fic for fans who would like a happier, more conclusive end (though it does have its brief moments of angst). Overall a fateful and wholesome fic that hints at a hopeful future for the pair."

Summary
The streets were quiet in the Under-City, as it was still barely dawn. The slowly brightening sky casted wisps of oranges and pinks over the cobblestones, and stained the window panes of the sleepy town, a telltale sign of the quickly approaching sunrise. At first, this sight would appear quite serene, maybe even tranquil to the ignorant outsider, or the casual passerby. Frisk new better,however, then to trust the peaceful illusion presented by the empty streets of the Under- City as she stuck to the shadows of the back alley ways, refusing to so much as touch the light of the new dawn. This was Ebbot after all, and no amount of peaceful sunrises could bathe away the true grime of the Under- City that existed in the form of organized crime and corruption which clung to Ebbot like thick black tar. Though it might look pretty from a distance life was hard here, and making an honest living was a concept really only found in fairy tales.
