Gyuvin's shirt is still distractingly wet. The lake light catches on the bridge of his nose, the water on his eyelashes, the flush still high in his cheeks. He looks like every version of himself Ricky has seen so far got poured into one person: baseball boy, son in the kitchen, homecoming favorite, idiot in a bathroom, beautiful wet thing on a platform trying not to look scared by his own wanting.

He thinks about Gyuvin despite how hard he tries not to. The way his eyes smile, his big hands and how they’re always on Ricky, his fluffy hair bouncing when he walks. He thinks about how Gyuvin is a boy, and how he’s at church camp right now probably praying that Ricky doesn’t go to Hell for his sins. Or praying he does, like it’ll absolve him personally. Summary

Gyuvin feels his face flush as his brain throws up several unhelpful and frankly deeply inappropriate images of Ricky to be experiencing in the middle of a pet store.
“This is your fault,” he whispers at the little dog, and Eumppappa blinks her giant eyes up at him innocently.
Gyuvin lives an unexciting life working the night shift and avoiding his unfriendly roommate. A stray dog turns it all upside down.
