Summary
In the spring of 1983, Steve Harrington starts seeing and hearing things he shouldn’t.
A nail-studded bat and flashing lights. Children’s high, bickering voices. Lapping blue water, chlorine, and guilt. Moments from a life he hasn’t lived crash into him without warning.
Steve might be losing his mind, but he's certain of one thing: Barbara Holland is going to die. Before the year is out, someone – or something – is going to murder her. So he does the only logical thing – he attempts to befriend her. It's easier to save someone if you're standing next to them, right?
Setting out to save Barb is supposed to make things make sense.
Instead, it causes Steve to question everything he thought he knew. The visions keep coming. And the more Steve tries to fix things, the more uncertain the world around him becomes. Especially when it comes to Eddie Munson – someone who Steve shouldn't have any reason to care about. But no matter what Steve does, every path seems to lead him back to Eddie.

"Arthur had learned this dance over the past decade. It was much more delicate than the ugly tumble it took to start a fight. Finding out if someone was itching for violence was simple, the signs often plain and in the open. It was expected of men to have the urge sometimes, as if they had a build-in affinity towards bloodied knuckles and bruised skin.
But the other dance was more complicated. It worked through small gestures, lingering gazes, fleeting touches. It had taken Arthur years to learn the intricacies of it.

Summary
After losing his prestigious job, Damian discovers that his girlfriend has cheated on him. Angry and hurt, he’s determined to find her lover and teach him a lesson. When he finds out that her lover is bisexual, it only makes him angrier. Raised by an extremely homophobic family, Damian is convinced he’s straight and holds nothing but contempt for people who aren’t.
But sometimes contempt and anger can turn into obsession, and then into something else entirely
Things get a lot more complicated when Damian has to bodyguard Jonathan. Can they stay professional?
They can’t. They bicker and fight, and they hate everything about each other.
