He'll set on a journey across the caribbean's recreating the steps of the infamous Edward Kenway. What he doesn't realize is that he has done the journey before, he just doesn't remember.
A modern universe reincarnation story I wrote, because the present day part of Black flag was, quite frankly, awful. Constructive criticism is always welcome and appreciated.

When Juno and Minerva told him he was going to die if he activated the device to save the world, he believed them. They had no reason to lie and Minerva’s expression made it clear that she had been worried. Whether she had been worried about him or about the future of the world if Juno got out, Desmond didn’t know.
But he couldn’t help but think that Minerva had a hand in all these.
That the reason why he woke up in the city of Jerusalem during the 12th century was because of something she did.
Still…
He would have appreciated it if she didn’t also return him to his 16-year-old body.
Now, having no idea what to do, Desmond decided to let history play out the way it did before and made his way to Alamut to be inducted into the Brotherhood without being part of Masyaf.
This way he could monitor everything without being in the middle of it.Unfortunately, he forgot one important thing.
Everything he knows of this time period was based on Altaïr’s memories.
And, thanks to how different Abstergo’s Animus was from Rebecca’s, Altaïr’s memories had always been incomplete.

Danzou doesn’t take lightly to betrayal.
Canon divergence because its so stupid that hiruzen just lets danzou keep trying to murder him and danzou doesnt even try to hide it djdjdmss.
So basically a What if danzou actually had a big plan to become Hokage that just couldnt be leaked, and how he deals with Kakashi deciding not to murder hiruzen on his order anymore.Series
