Summary
“Goodbye, 4C.” The man above him held a weapon long buried, sworn off and hidden for a whole year. Its imposing spikes still had remnants of dried blood, a reminder of the horrible night when he had first found the slime that now sat below him. He clutched his cloak as if it were a lifeline, a way to say that perhaps somehow he still deserved it after everything.

4C gets maced by Nom, and has nowhere else to go…

Summary
The Dragon's Hoard might not be the fastest ship on the seas. Not the biggest, either. That was it, not a noteworthy ship to anyone that might look at it.
However, ask any of its crew and their answers would be very different. A prize, a perch, a saviour, a map, a home.
From land to sea, they explored the world, free as they dreamed. Finding joy where they had it.

Okay, in theory, he did. He was on his way to visit a museum, one that displayed a favorite painting of Nom's. He was going to see the sights with his band, all of the members of which were slumped over each other and him, asleep.
