Summary
Beca Mitchell does not believe in love at first sight. She does not believe in soulmates, one true love, or any of that Hollywood bullshit. She barely believes in love at all, and when she does believe in it she thinks it’s mostly a way for people to hurt each other when it inevitably fades or otherwise goes away.
Beca Mitchell also, currently, does not have a thought in her conscious mind, and has not since she first met the incredibly blue eyes of the gorgeous redhead on this quad who asked her about joining something. An acapella group? Something along those lines.
Beca Mitchell’s subconscious mind is highly active, however, and is currently battling with several realizations. The subconscious cannot be expressed in words, but if it were, hers would currently be telling her three things: first, apparently I’m super fucking gay, second, dear god this is the most beautiful woman alive, and third, I’m going to marry her someday.

Summary
"Low-content legacy". It's a polite way of saying "functionally mortal." Nicky Simons, centurion in name only, is as true a daughter of Rome as she knows how to be. She's the head of Logistics, Provisions, & Requisition, and that's enough. She does good work. Makes herself useful. Builds up little debts, and almost never calls them in. She's valuable to Rome, and people trust her. Once a punitive dumping ground for incompetence, Nick's tenure as officer saw LP&R claw its way into a proud, well-oiled machine. It's a small, unglamorous, non-combat division; but skilled and respected, the beating heart of the Legion.
That's enough. It's all she ever needed. But when children, recruits, start going missing...suddenly those thousand little favors, sparks of light on dark nights that asked nothing in return, are about to blaze brighter than she could possibly have expected.
Nicky Simons is a logistics officer. But she is as true a daughter of Rome as she knows how to be. And Rome needs her to be more.

Summary
Bella and Rosalie have finally gotten through all the roadblocks in the way of each other, but it came at a heavy cost. Bella spends two months in a cabin owned by the Cullens to recover from the events, but there is more at stake than simply Bella's own recovery and her budding relationship with Rosalie.
