Summary
The day before Adrian Rosebarton awakened as a Guide nine years ago was the first and last time he had ever tasted freedom. Luckily, he was a glass-half-full kind of guy who wholeheartedly believed in making lemonade out of lemons. Being a Guide at Vulture had made it so that his father, even with all of his political influence and connections, couldn't touch him. Plus, Adrian enjoyed the sex, for the most part.
When his transport craft gets captured by Umbra, a ruthless gang of unregistered Espers, Adrian ends up the sole survivor of his Guide unit.
