Summary
Eurydike knew immediately which one the god-born was. Him and his swagger weren’t hard to miss. He was sitting at the furthest table on the terrace - the one closest to the sea - and he was dressed in a black bomber jacket and sunglasses. The breeze played through his dark curls; his eyes were hidden under sunglasses, but were no doubt some brilliant colour like all the god-born. He had his legs stretched out and his feet propped up on a battered guitar case. Silhouetted against the waves, it made for a handsome picture.
Eurydike scoffed. It was late spring. It wasn’t cold enough to need a jacket and it wasn’t bright enough to need sunglasses.

Before they left, Strickler had given him one last bit of advice.

Summary
House Cadash brings their people up to be practical. If you have half an hour to fill before the next shipment of Lyrium comes in, you fill it by sweeping the floors or washing the dishes, not lazing around. Inquisitor Cadash sees no reason to change that just because she's no longer in the Carta.
People get weird when it's the Herald of Andraste doing it though.

Summary
“Only you, Hawke,” Varric sighed.
Hawke, the bloody bastard, had the gall to look vaguely offended. The light coming from his hand tinged his face an unearthly green; the eerie shadows cast by it seemed to be almost alive, stretching and flickering even when no one moved. (Hawke ruined the effect by attempting to make a truly awful shadow puppet of a mabari.)
--
A series of stupid drabbles in which Purple!Hawke accidentally stumbles into the role of Inquisitor.
