“Curses aren’t real, Till.”
The shade of green on Till’s face grows more prominent. “You are breaking into one million pieces. Don’t fucking tell me that curses aren’t real.”

Summary
Subin's hand gave a sudden twitch, and before he knew it, the crumpled paper in his hand shook from the sudden tremors that he could hardly control, making the words written on the paper seem to blur into one another. Though he wished that it had been enough to convince him that he'd misread the whole thing.
The classroom is empty now. School had ended around thirty minutes ago. Woori's chair had been turned upside down and placed on top of his desk just like the others.
Subin wasted no time to think any longer before shoving the crumpled letter inside his pocket. He doesn't know when he started to sprint, not even caring to close the classroom door gently on his way out.
He needs to find Woori. If not, this day might come back and haunt him for the rest of his life.

In which, Subin came later to hand in his withdrawal application form.
Upon finding Woori's letter, Subin decided that he doesn't want to risk repeating the same tragedy that he'd experience years ago.
Unknowingly, this would send him down to a spiral of misunderstanding that he wouldn't be able to untangle.
