Phantom's cool breath ghosts over one of his pointed ears as he forms a tail to wrap possessively around Vlad's waist, "You've been neglecting me all week, you know."Vlad shivers, "I-"
Danny cups his chin and pulls him into another kiss, a proper one, this time. Deep, gentle and slow. Plasmius lets out a shakey little breath as he pulls away.
"The decorations aren't going anywhere," Danny purrs seductively, "Come to bed, Vlad."

Summary
"Danny swears inwardly, so as not to draw the ghost's attention in his compromised position and raises his head to watch it float through the Lab. Thankfully, it isn't one of his usual enemies, rather, it seems to be a lower level ghost. An Ectopuss, specifically. He lets out a sigh of relief at the revelation, and the ghostly cephalopod finally takes note of his presence.
It lets out an intrigued chirp as it floats closer to Danny, making the Halfa laugh weakly, "Hey they're bud, wanna help a fella out?"
The Ectopuss responds by suctioning a gooey green tentacle to his face. Danny grimaces and shakes his head to dislodge it, "Ugh, ew, not what I meant, but thanks anyway."
Ya boi gets stuck half phased through a wall. Fun things happen.

"Daniel, just bear with me please, I'm trying- " he pauses, winces, because that came out harsher than he intended, "I just need to explain something to you."
"About cores?"
Vlad heaves a sigh, "About what happened."
Danny blanches at that, vividly recalling the incident Vlad's referring to.Vlad's hands on his hips,
Steady friction against the heat pooling underneath him-
The way that flesh had yielded against his teeth and the acidic sting of ectoplasm on his tongue-
Danny swallows hard, willing the memory away, "And what does that...have to do with Cores?"
"It's a biological process," Vlad deadpans.
Danny's embarrassment shifts to confusion, and it must show on his face because the older Halfa pinches the bridge of his nose in exasperation before following up with, "I'm just going to explain this in the most clinical manner possible-"
Danny opens his mouth to speak,
"Please hold all questions until I've finished."

Danny stirs the ice around in his drink absent mindedly, "Change your mind about the Sugar Daddy thing?"
"I- No, no. Absolutely not."
Daniel has the nerve to giggle at him, "Then what'd you want?"
"To offer you a different sort of job. One at Town Hall."
Danny raises an eyebrow, showing the barest hint of interest, "And why would I want to do that?"
"Because, you're currently broke and jobless due to certain extra curricular activities few employers other than myself will tolerate."
"Alright...fair point." Danny leans forward on the table, "and let's say I took you up on this offer, what would you have me do?"
"Officially? Secretarial work, Camille's going to have an increased workload otherwise, what with my running for re-election."
"And unofficially?"
"You have a rather unique skill set few others could utilize- I have extracurriculars of my own I could use assistance with."
Danny smirks, "Thought we already said no scheming?"
Vlad can't help but laugh, "Oh, my dear boy, I know. But it's only scheming if it involves you."

What the title says. About 11 years ago (from my perspective; relativity is weird) I was launched into space onboard the Hail Mary to figure out a solution to the Astrophage problem. This strengthens and adds value to the object, as well as maintaining it's functionality. Kintsugi is a metaphor for healing and resilience.
