Summary
"I know ok?!" - Izuku screams, he never screams.
Shōto flinches and fights the instinct to cover his ears as he stays put with his back against the bedroom door. Fuyumi frowns with the headphones in his hands, ready to place them over his ear, but for once Shōto wants to know.
"He's not special! He's just-" - the sentence stops, Inko warns him to stop as it often happens and somehow Shōto wishes Izuku wouldn't stop. He needs to hear it, he needs someone to say that word.
"I'm your son, you birthed me, and still I'm never a priority..." - Izuku says and his voice breaks.
It's quieter this time. Shōto opens the door and takes a tentative step outside, not really knowing why: maybe to confront Inko, or maybe to comfort Izuku. The entrance door slams and he's faced with only Inko. She looks at him with so much guilt she might as well just have killed a man.
"I'm sorry..." - she says and Shōto doesn't understand what she's actually sorry about.

Endeavor Biotech is the biggest and most important biotechnology company of Japan.
Katsuki is a 24yo genetic engineer. He has been working for Endeavor Biotech ever since he got his degree and his team is one of the three working on the Yūtopia project.
His team finally achieve their first results and create their perfect human hybrid: Project 04.
Shōto, the chimera they've been trying to create all along, is just a 5yo looking child gifted with extraordinary intelligence.
Leaks deem Project 04 as no longer valuable and safe, hence it's placed on hold until further evaluation to decide if it has to be terminated.
Right when things get complicated, Katsuki end up seeking his childhood friend's help, leading to a series of unexpected events.

For as long as he can remember, Shōto has never known happiness and love.
An abusive father, a mother gone insane and a missing brother were the things that left the boy physically and emotionally scarred to the point of being unable to have any feeling if not rage and hatred.
Hiding his insecurity under make up and a stoic expression he walks the hallways of UA alone, with an empty heart till Izuku tries to make his way into his wrecked heart.𝘿𝙄𝙎𝘾𝙇𝘼𝙄𝙈𝙀𝙍:
The story will stretch through the 3 years of UA.
I left some things as they're in the anime/manga (the events from the sport festival to the provisional hero license will take place but won't be narrated) but I changed few others for the sake of the plot.
Shōto was homeschooled before UA.
He doesn't visit his mother right after the sport festival, but later on. He covers his scar until the second half of 1st year. He doesn't get the provisional hero license at all.
Katsuki and Izuku are actually good friends.

Izuku grimaced to himself. Yeah, he should definitely be trying harder to buy his way out of the yakuza. He’d promised he would. The snatch and dash car job had been part of it. It paid well, and he fully intended to put at least half of that money into his ‘get out’ fund. But he also wanted a new laptop, so it was what it was. His gang didn’t even know about the carjacking.
But he could definitely do better!
…if he didn’t go straight to jail like an unlucky monopoly player.
“In here sir, thank you for waiting.” Came the old cop’s voice from before as the door opened.
Izuku quickly sat up straight, the handcuff around his wrist jingling again.
“It’s okay, but I’m very busy, I’d like to get this over with quickly.” A low, smooth voice sounded before the most beautiful man Izuku had ever seen stepped into the room. He wore a tailored mid-grey suit with a black shirt and grey tie, and his hair was red on one side and white on the other. What kind of die job was that for a guy that looked like some rich mama’s boy slash CEO? He looked like he came from money; perfect porcelain skin, not a speck of dust on him, nor a hair out of place.
