Summary
Team 7 would be either the worst disaster the village had ever seen, or the true Sannin of Konoha. Whichever it was, they would do it together. (Or, Sakura isn't who everyone thinks she is, including herself, and that changes everything.)
The roots of Konoha's Will of Fire run deeper than anyone can imagine. Deep enough to bring together four people who had no one else. Deep enough to give them something to hope and fight for, even when there's nothing left.
You see, the things we hide can destroy us or make us who we are.
The difference is in who we would die for.The memorial in Konoha held the names of everyone who had died in battle, on missions or defending the village. Sakura's parent's names were on it, and maybe someday her name would be etched on it too. She used to be afraid of the thought, but now Sakura decided that it if it did come true, it will be because she died protecting everyone that she loved.

Summary
Katara and Zuko have to hide in a cave following their encounter with Yon Rha. Comforting turns to cuddling, which turns to waking up on Appa's tail in each other's arms. Katara is shocked at how comfortable she is. Zuko is shocked that Katara doesn't hate him for it.
And it's the best night's sleep either of them has had in a while.
It doesn't mean anything though. It's not like it's going to ever happen again.
That's what they think until they realize how difficult it is to sleep without the other's presence.

Summary
Multi-Chapter sequel to Something Important.
Katara was furious. How could Zuko be so stupid? Why hadn’t he told her? She pushed her way through the soldiers and stormed into the Firelord’s tent. “Zuko!” She hissed. “Did you seriously ask Aang to kill you?”
Zuko looked back at her, dazed. “No?” He tried, but his face did that thing it did when he was lying and she could have screamed at him in frustration. “Yes,” He amended, quickly. “It’s not as bad as it sounds…”
“Not as-?” Katara didn’t think she had ever been this angry at him. “I saw you a month ago! Why didn’t you talk to me?”
“I didn’t want to worry you,” Zuko tried, standing from his desk with a pained expression. “I just... I don’t want to end up like him .”
The promise he’d bound Aang to- the oath that had weighed so heavily on Aang’s shoulders, to kill the young Fire Lord if he began to turn into his father. Katara crossed the tent quickly, wrapping a startled Zuko in a tight hug. “You won’t,” She promised. “You’re not like him at all.”
That seemed to be the wrong thing to say.

Summary
“I’ve been saving it for something important.” She said slowly, looking back up at the face of the enemy.
She managed not to flinch when his eyes narrowed at her searchingly, and simply held the vial of oasis water between them. Without saying anything further, she reached for his face. The left side.
The scar tissue was a strange mix of textures. She’d never gotten so close to long-healed burn scars before. The skin moved loosely beneath her touch, but the bumpy tissue beneath it remained stiff and unmoveable. Zuko’s breathing seemed harsh and shaky, but his face managed to remain impassive.
“But…” She pulled her hand away. “I only have enough water for one attempt. It may not even work…” she trailed off, feeling uncertain, but he was watching her again and the sense of empathy, of strange camaraderie, that she’s started feeling when he mentioned his mother’s loss grew. “But I’ll try.”
10 more minutes can change a lot. Canon-divergent from the end of season 2.

Summary
He softened, stepping away from her. “When I was younger, my mother told me this story. About this Prince of the Fire Nation— Kai and the woman he fell in love with, Gira. She was an earthbender and when she touched him, his fire turned green. Apparently, princes and princesses of the Fire Nation throne carry this trait.”
Katara’s brows drew together. “When benders touch you, your fire changes colors?”
He bit his lip hard enough to taste blood. “No. When your ‘soulmate’,” he put air-quotes around the word, his voice shaking, “touches you. I mean almost no one after Kai married a bender— whether it was their soulmate or not. There’s no way to know it’s true.”
“But I’ve seen your fire turn bl— oh. Oh.” she shook her head, turning away from him. “That’s ridiculous.”
“I know.” he huffed.
“But your fire—”
“I know.”
Silence fell over them.
Zuko jolted when Katara laid a warm hand on his shoulder. He told himself he was imagining the tingling feeling that spread through his palms. “Let’s try it.”
