Summary
Tim thought that after everything he went through in the Batcave around the beginning of his tenure as Robin, he was ready to go back and try to replace those memories with nice, new ones with his big brother Jason. Unfortunately, trauma responses don't work like that.

Tim tries to train with Jason in the Batcave. Bad memories resurface and Jason learns more about what training was like for the third Robin. Bruce learns that he apparently knows very little about his third son and the truth about their relationship.

“I never made a tape for Tim,” Bruce admits, his words laced with hesitance. He can sense the collective gaze of his children fixed upon him, their curiosity palpable.
"And what else could this be if not your recording?" Dick waves the small device in his hand.
"There's only one way to figure it out," Jason hints.
"I'm not sure, Jason. This might be something personal," Dick looks worried but also intrigued.
"Maybe it's a recording the kids' parents made," Jason shrugs.
"Could be," Dick concedes as he plugs the small device into the screens and settles back to watch.

Timothy Jackson Drake was not created to fail. He was created to soar, to be a beacon of pride to carry on his parent’s legacy, even if he wasn’t quite expected. Over and over again, he has walked along a tightrope, appeasing the expectations of his family and his own desires.
His life has been full and happy all things considered. It’s part of the reason he doesn’t have a grappling hook. He’s always known that dancing with Ra’s Al Ghul would spell his death. At least this way, he had one last victory over the man.
He closed his eyes.
Finally, there is peace.
In other words, a series of connected one-shots following the aftermath of Tim's interactions with Ra’s Al Ghul.

It was very tidy, with various items and medications perfectly aligned. Except for that bandage there on the third shelf. It was three centimeters to the left.

Tim looked up from his phone as he heard a string of curses down by the beach. Cautiously, he headed down the old wooden staircase off the boardwalk, “Hello?”
A boy’s face popped up over some rocks near the water. His eyes were wide as he stared at Tim. The boy looked around his age, his red hair damp, like he’d just started drying off from a swim. “I’m…fine,” he said unconvincingly.
Tim hurried over to him, ignoring the way the guy’s eyes widened even more and he started protesting. Tim’s threshold of weird was a lot further than most people’s, and he wasn’t going to let something potentially awkward or uncomfortable stop him from helping someone who clearly needed it.
“That’s really not necessary - oof!” the guy scrambled to get up before falling back behind the rocks.
Tim quickly moved around them, bracing his hand against one as he finally could see the whole situation. His breath caught in his throat, seeing the white and red tail sprouting from the boy’s waist. This breached his weird threshold.Written for the MerMay 2026 Prompt, Beached

"You've acquired a child" Arthur says in a weird tone and Bruce blinks "Wait whose kid is that?" Oliver is glancing over the room like he thinks someone else is going to appear out of thin air and claim Tim. Against his own common sense Bruce clutches Tim closer, the four-year-old shifting into a more comfortable position in his lap.
"Daddy, blanket" Tim murmurs, tugging on his cape for emphasis as the room goes unnaturally quiet. Bruce doesn't respond verbally, too busy assessing his coworkers confusing reactions as he wraps Tim carefully in his cloak, the little boy promptly smushes his face back into Bruce's chest.
OR
Bruce is forced to introduce a sick Tim to the Justice League.
