Summary
A continuation of “The Three-Wish Story” by Robley Wilson. In a medieval fairy-tale-ish setting, a young man gets 3 wishes from an old witch who warns him of their harm. He uses one to return the voice of his mute girlfriend, who revels in her new freedom. She no longer has to let him order her the same foods in restaurants, or stay home all day. He can’t stand the fact that she’s not silent and dependent on him anymore, while she makes friends and explores society. Eventually they break up, and a year later, he’s still moping while she’s living her life. He goes to her house one day, gives her the second wish, and then uses the final one to make himself mute. He expects her to give him his voice back, and why shouldn’t she? My ending starts from this point, with him on her doorstep.

Summary

Though Izzy and Frenchie are hoping for somewhat different outcomes when it seems they've finally caught up with the group, they both can agree they hope it will end peacefully and swiftly.
Instead, a far too familiar face appears, putting everyone's plans on hold.

Summary
Despite their new life on the Revenge appearing precarious at best, Frenchie, Fang, Ivan, Lucius, and Jim decide to stick around as sailing with Blackbeard seems to be their best option if they hope to find Stede Bonnet and the rest of their crew again. Especially considering Blackbeard seems hellbent on tracking down any and every rumor he hears about his former co-captain.
As Frenchie tries to get used to the change in bosses, he forms a connection with the last person he thought he ever would: Izzy Hands.
