After coming home from a family wedding, the reader starts struggling with her ED again. Christina notices... she always notices... the little things... right away. She immediately does everything she can to help: meal-prepping her favorite foods, making sure they sit down and eat together every night. Christina's love and attentiveness helps the reader slowly starts finding her footing again and remember that she doesn't have to go through recovery by herself.

Once a year, different agencies all throughout the world do a gala. Officially the gala is for them to allow soulmates to meet each other in a neutral ground. No matter who arrives they aren't allowed to arrest them. Unofficially its a chance to recruit the more skittish people. This year, Phil was roped into attending as a way to keep the peace. Though if the look on Romanoff's face was any indication it wasn't going to be a boring night. She had been glued to her phone most of the day and given one word answers. At one point the smile had been downright feral and he reminded her that it was supposed to be a neutral party. He was almost afraid to ask her what she was getting him into.
Clint was questioning his life choices when he entered the SHIELD Soulmate Gala. Natasha had convinced him to attend and come in from being a mercenary. He'd been considering it for awhile but there'd never been a good time to make the change. Now was just as good a time as any and if it didn't work out, well, he could always disappear. So he went in his Ronin gear.
