Summary
Riri Williams and Vivian Vision weren't on speaking terms for a long while, but when Viv goes off the radar. Riri gets nervous about what happened more than she usually would. But of course it's a normal reaction to fly across multiple states to look for a girl who kissed you once (that's not weird at all.) Meanwhile Viv is working with her own problems her world gets turned upside-down when her first love shows up with no explanation.

– On Hiatus! Being Rewritten! –
Marinette is not supposed to be his holder. Plagg was painfully aware of this. He was aware when he saw the child create clothes and creatures and patterns. He was aware when he saw Marinette's luck manifest itself in Nathaniel's friendship and the Guardian Tome.
Plagg was supportive of his holder. He was, truly. He cheered for her successes, mourned for her failures, and encouraged Marinette into becoming the best she could possibly be.
But the Tome made Plagg afraid. He flickered more often, tense and on edge. What did the Guardians say about him? Did they call him a beast, a creature of pure evil, a Demon? A force of nature that had no potential to be good or pure, leading to nothing but corruption, destruction, and death. Who knows how much the Guardians added to the story? How much got embellished or twisted?
Still, Plagg watched as Marinette slowly translated the Tome, black mist flickering.

Lila's lies still found a place among Marinette's friends, in the same way that akumas and hamoks managed to infiltrate behind her lucky talismans. For its part, having a more jealous partner than usual and an obedient team but whit a serius lack of autonomy only made it even more difficult. Her job as a guardian and life as a civilian was only getting harder, the poor girl just wanted to be alone, to have a moment of calm, to be left alone for once in months...
Unfortunately, it seems that her wish came true, since Marinette was alone. There was no one for her in Paris, not her parents, not her friends, not her teachers, not even the akumas themselves. Not metaphorically, nor rhetorically, poetically or theoretically. She was straigh up alone... Well, except for that girl...
Now Marinette will have to figure out where everyone went and figure out how to save the day, while debating whether she'd rather be alone with her thoughts or alone with Chloé Bourgeois.

Summary
He moved on from her, yet still kept careful watch, and moved to the girl in green. He barely skimmed the surface of her soul when he felt like he was looking into a lake. He could see nothing, no gleaming hints, or hidden truths, only his own failures staring him back in the face.
And then it happened; hands.
The hands of the damned, those he had killed and those that had died beside him, thrusting out from the lake, dragging him down, and down, and down…
They were laughing.
But then he was standing back in his bar, without having moved at all, looking directly into the red eyes of the girl in green as she twirled the cylinder in her hand. Instead of being empty, it now contained a gleaming crimson mist, silent and gruesome as it consumed all within.
“Have fun?” she asked, not breaking eye contact.
