Summary
The world felt like too much for Max after an awful run in with some Russians, a battle full of loss, loss of the person who she hated yet can't help miss. How even after he was gone he seemed to haunt her life, destroying all her relationships, except for the one she had with Mike Wheeler. It only lasted because of the awful run in with Russians and because he was stubborn and maybe because he understood better then she thought.
The world felt like too much for Mike after an awful run in with some Russians, a battle full of loss and the love of his life moving across the country before he got the chance to tell him how he felt. Him being gone made everything so much harder, like holding conversations without screaming at the other person at least once or finding joy in things. Now the only person he didn't feel completely terrible around was Max Mayfield, a girl he'd once hated, then tolerated and now had come to be one of the most important people in his life.

Max Mayfield thought she hated Mike Wheeler, but in the two weeks they’d been working together she’d found that they were more alike than she thought. She found that maybe she didn't mind his company as much as she thought.
Dustin Henderson was very disappointed, he’d just gotten home from camp and none of his friends had come to greet him or answered their walkies.

Cameron still hasn't said anything, clearly curious but trying to be polite. Knox and Pitts smile warmly when they see him taking them. Meeks once raised an identical pill and said "cheers", which was cool in a weird sort of way.
Todd tells them all the same thing; "It's just medicine I have to take." Neil's the only one who hasn't asked yet.
