Summary
Din isn’t running away. It’s a tactical regrouping. Away from everyone who’s demanding things from him. And maybe he’s ignoring his comms too. Tactical avoidance. Just for a bit. But he isn’t running away and he definitely isn’t hiding, even though he didn’t tell anyone where he was going and has no plans to anytime soon. Dank farrik.
It’s not a great plan, but it’s working. Din actually starts to feel relaxed— for a few days at least. But then an X-wing crash lands a short distance from the village and when a familiar face is pulled from the wreckage, Din realizes he can no longer shut out the rest of the galaxy.
Din and Luke work together to get Luke’s X-wing fixed and in doing so, find that maybe the answer to their problems lies with each other.

Summary
Kremy LeCroux, the best conman in all of Agwe and slowly expanding to the best conman in all of Avantris, stood in front of the mirror in the dingy bathroom of their current tavern.
Having drunk more than necessary already, he felt his head swim like a lazy fish in the sluggish waters of the bayou he called home. His palms gripped the cool sides of the mirror.
He wasn’t sure why he’d decided drinking would douse the flames of jealousy burning in his chest.

Kremy's met with Garou, paid their debts and then some, and is now ready to live it up for a week or five in the prettiest city he'd ever been to, roads swimming with lights and flair as the street parades began for the Week of Deities. Unfortunately, old faces lead to old places, and it seems the stream is twisting in a way he isn't too keen on.
Caught between a waterfall of tears and the rocky rapids of regret, he needs to learn to ask for help. A new deal with Garou weighs on his heart and hips.

Gideon felt full and warm and something like contented for the first time in… well, the first time in as long as he could remember anymore. And he wasn’t even drunk, nor did he feel the urge to remedy this state of affairs as soon as possible. Another novel sensation. Watching Kremy’s skinny little silhouette fuss around the camp tidying away his cooking tools and humming under his breath, a tentative bloom of warmth seemed to unfold in Gideon’s chest.
That it? said a mean, hard voice somewhere deep in his heart. You’re just gonna roll over and wag your tail for the first and best fella who feeds you and spares you somethin’ like a kind word?
If he keeps feedin’ me like that? Hell yeah, you bet your ass I will! Gideon answered that voice fervently.
