Summary
"Piece by piece, small things begin to slip under Biorna’s tunic sleeves. Nettles poke into her skin and make her uneasy. Where once she had stood calm and firm, she now wavers and thinks a second too long. Her sleep is hounded by someone calling a name she can’t hear, and she longs to cry back."
Biorna has been in service to her Master, Danarius, for over the past year. She has no memory of the before, and has not had the desire to know. She is a tool to be wielded and wielded she shall. Where her mind has been quiet, however, it suddenly begins to quietly slip into things she doesn't know. There is something, or perhaps someone, under the surface that she needs answers to find. Biorna knows that Danarius is on a quest to find his 'wolf', Fenris, and after remembering him- now Biorna is as well. She journeys to Kirkwall to find a truth she didn't know existed.

Summary
Once, Varric had turned to the Inquisitor during a game of Wicked Grace.
It was a rare chance, to have the Qunari sit in on one of their games, and perhaps the only time he ever felt brave enough to ask anything that was...beyond the Inquisition.
Yet, that night he had been feeling brave and very drunk, and he had wondered, how old was the Inquisitor?
The question earned a laugh from everyone around the table, and Varric had never expected an answer.
Especially the answer he received.
"57, give or take. I believe I lost a decade in there somewhere, so 67 may be more accurate."
Varric made himself promise not to ask Adaar anymore questions until he was prepared for the most ridiculous answers.Or, the one where the Inquisitor has lived a long, hard life before the Inquisition, and has too many sad tales to share to keep them all to herself. Varric is almost too willing to listen. (A series of snippets of one Qunari's life)

Summary
Even those who seem to be immortal aren’t safe in the Commonwealth.
Deacon remembers a time that Fixer had laughed at that- used it as a reason why fighting a pack of death claws didn’t seem like such a bad idea. She said the Commonwealth picks you up, chews you around, and spits you back out without your armor on- and not even the best of the best were safe from that.
Now, he wonders if she’d known she meant herself, too.

Summary
Post-prisoner of Azkaban. Instead of returning to 12 Grimmauld Place, Sirius tracks down Remus Lupin in his tiny cottage. Remus, ever the hopeful, had already set out a pillow and blanket for the escapee just in case. It's been twelve years since they truly spoke to one another, and yet it doesn't feel nearly as strange as it should.
