Summary
As Hell's biggest pop sensation, once again, Stolas has concerts lined up through all the Rings for the festival circuit. After the events of the final concert of his 'comeback tour', there's only one imp in Hell that Stolas trusts to protect him. Though Blitzø has no interest in being a popstar's bodyguard again, it's not always easy to get work as one of dozens of assassins in Hell, and he could definitely use the money. That is the only reason Blitzø agrees to it, at least that's what he tells himself, because that is a much simpler answer than the truth of whatever keeps drawing him to protect the owl.

Summary
Octavia frowns up at him. “Daddy, where's your pretty cape?”
“It's… still in the wash. I will have to be without it today.”
“You should let Mummy pick something else for you,” she tells him, “she got me this dress!”
Her dad turns away then, a little tense. She tugs at the hem of his robe and he reaches out to ruffle her feathers, still not looking at her. Happily, she leans into the contact.
“Your mother has lovely taste, you are quite right. I'm sure she is finding me something appropriate to wear now.”
Or:
Octavia's perspective on her parents' relationship throughout her life, culminating in the realistaion that - just maybe - she and her dad are allowed be happy too.

Summary
It happened right around 8:45, tucked into the thin fold of space between his barely eaten bowl of soup being cleared from the table and his wine glass being dutifully refilled for the fifth or sixth time. The main course was minutes away. The sky outside was a pretty violet color, dark enough at the edges that it was hard to tell where exactly the sea pressed up to meet it. Prince Stolas of the Ars Goetia, newly 22 years old, took a measured breath, looked around the opulent dining room filled to the brim with laughing, unbothered nobility, and realized with absolute clarity that he was going to have to kill himself.

Stolas is a miserable passenger on a luxury cruise in Envy, traveling with his fiancée and her brother in the days before his very much arranged wedding. Meanwhile, Blitzø is a stowaway on that very same cruise, in pursuit of a target that will help him keep his floundering assassination business (and two newlywed employees) afloat a little longer. When their paths (literally) collide, all bets are off and things sure do happen, both in a hot-and-heavy way and a oh-shit-this-boat-is-DEFINITELY-gonna-sink way.
(Yes, this is a loose Titanic (1997) AU.)
