Mahito’s grinning face vanished quickly replaced with one of pure shock.“……… Junpei?”

Summary
Human beings are not inherently evil. It was once said an evil was unleashed onto the world after the dissonances of humanity. Left as souls without vessels, these curses killed and killed until the three clans were born: Zenin, Gojo, and finally Kamo. They blessed the holy lands with peace and prosperity, cleansing the spirits anger and allowing them to pass on. All three possess the elements to both give life and take it, keeping to the balance of the world. They are the gods of lowly human beings, destined to their thrones as human deities.
After the murder of the cursed one, Toji Zenin, the three clans are thrown into disarray over the balance of their clans. Fate had been twisted and there was no one left to save them, with the soul exception of Satoru Gojo of course. He's sent out to find and exorcise the murderer of the beloved Toji Zenin. However, when he finds the killer, will he truly be able to end the sufferings of man?
"You're nothing but a meek copy?" His breath caught as he tried to focus his vision. An unruly sense of dread washing over him in waves.
"Satoru...I truly am honored to meet you." A smile, a smile only one man could have.

Mahito was bored. He didn't feel like trying to teach Nobara and Junpei how to play monopoly since both of them kept changing the rules whenever they started losing. Kenjaku used to play with him but now he was extra busy with his newest breakthrough.
He was about to bother Kenjaku again when he heard Gojo making a mess. Now with something to pass the time, he makes his way over when he notices a new pair of shoes at the door.
He heads outside towards the tool shed as his obsession for the intruder begins.
