Summary
When she was born, Shadow was the only child of what other monarchies called the “The Herald of Doom.” He was a ruthless king that founded his whole empire on war, conquest, and ruthless obedience. Yet, as the only heir to the Black Arms Kingdom, Shadow was doted upon by the ruling tyrant for years.
To ensure that her future as Queen would be fortuitous, King Doom secured an early engagement to a young Prince of Camelot and taught the girl that she was to command both kingdoms by any means necessary. As she aged into adolescence, Shadow understood that she was to essentially marry into Camelot and quietly assassinate the only male heir, named “Manic,” once Queen Aleena had passed. When she finally ruled over Camelot as the sole monarch, she was then to assimilate its people into the militant culture of the Black Arms and overthrow the other countries rulers with their combined forces. Thus, uniting the continent under one indomitable dictatorship.
But, as it usually goes with fate… Three unexpected events occurred in the young woman’s life that eventually led King Doom’s plans of conquest to go up in flames.
Or: Sonic and Shadow are gay princesses who try to stop Doom and Eclipse's plans to rule Camelot

Summary
Sonic and Shadow are settled into their married lifestyles and have decided to try and start a family. Both hedgehog's will have to face parts of their pasts, as neither truly had parents of their own growing up, but aren't alone as they discover the ups and downs of parenthood. It really takes a village to raise a child.

Summary
It was obvious that Sonic and Shadow had feelings for each other. Shadow never bothered to hide it because, well, why should he? If people have a problem with it, they can deal with him face-to-face. But, Sonic... He's always had his reservations about certain things. Being the world's favorite hero meant you landed in the spotlight more often than you wanted to, and some things were just meant to be private. They never really bothered to address the differences in their expectations of each other until years later when Shadow meets someone at work. With the years of Sonic's ambivalence weighing on him... He finally decides to stop waiting on Sonic's indecisiveness and calls... whatever they had... quits.
Denial is a river... And Sonic finds himself drowning in it.

Summary
Even after years of fighting and coming to terms with their rivalry, Sonic and Shadow still have issues seeing eye-to-eye about certain things. However, after seeking advice from Shadow, Sonic is no longer ashamed of his identity as an omega. His respect for Shadow grows after the hybrid opens up about his own experiences, and in a sporadic whim of boldness, asks the alpha to start a no-strings-attached arrangement to benefit them both. Well... as per usual... things never go as planned and the two find themselves having much more in common than they originally thought.
Author's note: I've read a lot of fics where Sonic's whole thing is trying to hide the fact he's an omega - Love these fics - I just wanted to turn that idea upside down on it's head. So, instead, he's become proud of his identity and starts trying to explore and learn more about himself and how it's okay to be vulnerable. Same goes for Shadow.

Summary
Shadow The Hedgehog has to face the fact that sometimes he has to rest in order to maintain his health. He can't keep pushing without there being some recoil that occurs. He learns that he can't pour from an empty glass, and his partner Sonic, along with his friends, help Shadow to see that it's okay to ask for help if he needs it.
Note: This will be part of a collection where Shadow deals with different situations and accepts that he won't always be at his 100% best.
