claudia's diary entries set in an alternate universe where they aren't vampires. louis is an art collector, lestat is a rockstar with the stage name 'vampire lestat', armand's main job is to manipulate, but his pay job is of an actor and daniel is young and a reporter. louis, armand and daniel have been friends since college. claudia is eighteen and her girlfriend madeleine is 21 and works as a fashion designer.
