Summary
After Sirius Black’s prank goes too far, Remus Lupin stops speaking to him. No forgiveness, just an aching silence that gets sharper the closer the full moon creeps in.
Then Slughorn assigns Amortentia, and Sirius realises something he can’t unlearn.
So Sirius does what he always does when he’s desperate - testing the limits of Remus’s patience.
It involves mistletoe, a charmed cup that won’t let anyone lie, Regulus Black being unhelpful in exactly the right way, and staying at Hogwarts over Christmas. It’s a train of terrible ideas, and it might be the thing that finally works.

Summary
“Black’s been in love with you since he was sixteen. Use it.”
Remus nearly dropped his mug.
“That’s absurd,” he said at last.
“No,” Moody said. “It’s useful.”—
In an effort to stop Sirius Black from arguing with every single Order meeting, Moody weaponizes the fact that Sirius is still catastrophically in love with Remus Lupin.
Remus thinks the entire plan is ridiculous.
Unfortunately, it works.Bookmarked by Rilsa

Summary
Levi’s thumb smooths some smudge of ash or dirt or other wrongness from the arch of Hange’s brow. He touches like he needs to make a memory of their skull beneath their skin. Levi’s intensity is a familiar fire to Hange, one they’ve passed through their hands hundreds of times. They’re used to deflecting it. To lie below it and feels its press, instead, they find it doesn’t sear in the same way they expect.
All they think, in the space between, is how Levi grasped their cloak at the port. How there was no letting go.

after the Rumbling, Hange and Levi endure their losses and move forward.
