Summary

So why was he in front of him now? Furious, betrayed, spewing hatred and promises of death, but alive? Why is he willing to risk his new coven by protecting his fledgling who wants nothing more than to destroy them?
He's alive and that's all Hongjoong cared about. As long as Mingi was alive, he'd stop at nothing to protect him, would do anything just to bring back his kind, endearingly clumsy, scaredy-cat of a fledgling. Even if Mingi never forgives him for his failings, Hongjoong would protect him this time, wouldn't let anything or anyone hurt him ever again. As long as Mingi was alive and by his side, where he could keep him safe, everything would be okay. He just had to find a way for Mingi to feel safe and protected too.

Hyung, here's things you need to know about our Taehyungie
First: He prefers to let you decide things, while he’s still getting used to living on the surface. Make it simple. Yes or no. Gimbap or Kimchi, that sort of thing.
Second: he would appreciate it if you announce it when you walk into the same area. If you don’t want to end up in a chokehold. Trust me, you will not win against a paranoid Taehyung.
Third: don’t let his dog sleep on the couch. He’s trying to teach Dani to stay on the floor.
Fourth: Taehyung has trouble remembering things. He needs time to adjust. If he forgets to do stuff you asked of him, don’t make it a big deal.
Because Fifth: Taehyung WILL make a big deal of things he thinks he does wrong. It’s like he expects punishment, or something. We must reassure him that's, IN FACT, NOT a big deal.
Sixth: in case of pure, unfiltered panic, try to calm him down in any way you can. If you think you cannot handle it, call Dr Oh.
Seventh: It’ll take a long time to learn Taehyung’s triggers, because he doesn’t even know most of them himself.
