Zane looked up at Kai in surprise, the red ninja, he was still the same. His brown hair was slicked back with a scar under his eye that went over his eyebrow, past his orange pupils. Kai leaned against the counter, took a sip of coffee to steady his mood and then looked at Zane again. He asked slowly:
"Is it really just a dream for you guys?"
________________________Aka The ninjas are stuck in a loop where Kai keeps dying no matter how hard they try. Kai becomes confused and annoyed as all the ninjas keep following him, until he finds out why.

I'm adopting them both and you can't stop me!” Lloyd hands the kids their sandwiches, pours two glasses of water for them, and walks out of the room with the kids trailing behind.

Steel whizzed a bare inch above Ruby’s head.
Tossing their scythes up, Ruby and Qrow both twirled tightly before catching them again, whirling around in a wide slash that nicked wickedly at the edges of their clothes.
Blake’s bow flinched back in shock. “Isn’t that dangerous?”
“Nah.” Yang dismissed with a grin, not taking her eyes off the performance. “I mean, for other people yeah it would be, but Ruby and Qrow could do this blindfolded in their sleep. Don’t worry.”
“That somehow fails to be very reassuring.” Commented Weiss from her perch at the edge of her seat.
