Player should know to just accept it by now. This endless cycle should’ve ingrained it into their head. And it has. But they can’t help but want more.
And they want their father.
And they want to rely on someone. They want to get rid of the awful ache in their head. They want to be treated like any other kid. They don’t want to be alone anymore. They want to be held. They want a hug.
They want their dad.
They toss and turn in bed, until they get up and try to get his attention the only way they know how. Endings.
It doesn’t really work. Why would it? Things never change.
