Voren is quintessentially Vulcan. Born of a pon farr-induced tryst to parents who didn’t want him, logic was always a companion when he had nothing else. Saeva’s ears may be pointed, but she’s never considered herself Vulcan. After spending her childhood on a war-ravaged colony world and her youth under the tutelage of a Nausicaan smuggler, logic has never been a factor in any of her many mistakes.
One seeking purpose, the other seeking redemption. When chance lands them both aboard the USS Enterprise, instincts draw them together in ways they cannot control.
Beyond the secretive atmosphere of Vulcan, pon farr exists in a place between rumor and fantasy, contrived into plotlines and punchlines alike. Yet for Vulcans who suffer from it, the time of mating is a fight for survival that often culminates in broken hearts, broken families, broken lives. As Voren will discover, Vulcan logic may be the key to serenity but Vulcan biology always exacts a price.

“Cut the crap,” He growled. “Are you affiliated with the Phantom Troupe?”“What do you mean? I don’t know where you got that idea from.” Frustrated with her nonchalance, he fought with his body to contain the red pigment within his eyes so as to not have them noticeably bleed through the contacts, it was a futile endeavor.
“Answer me!” He cried out, gritting his teeth painfully. Taking pity on him, Arisu rested a hand on his forearm. Kurapika flinched away at the soft touch, his face contorting in a look of bewilderment as he loosened his grip on her shoulders. Arisu’s shoulders sagged in relief as the pain was relieved, bringing her shoulders forward she rolled them back to get rid of the lingering pain, his hands falling away in the process.
“Don’t take this out on me Kurapika.” Arisu growled, pointing a finger to his chest. “I had nothing to do with their deaths at the auction, you know that.”
“I—” He started hesitantly.
“Save it, Kurapika.” Arisu muttered. “If you're so hell-bent on learning about the Spiders, talk to me like a mature person instead of trying to beat it out of me like some common thug.” She frowned. “I’ll be waiting when you're ready.”

Summary
Women had always loved Gon.
He was bright, sincere, brilliant with compliments and surprisingly romantic. And now, at 21 years old, was also devastatingly attractive. His skin was freckled and bronzed from years in the sun. He’d grown tall and broad and his muscles were as defined as his jawline. It was no shock that he found himself on frequent dates on his travels, leaving admirers where he went. Were it not for the plain fact he didn’t have a manipulative bone in his body, he could almost have been considered a player. But his honesty was his shield in the court of public opinion.
Killua, also, had always loved Gon.
