For an alchemist, this is inexpressibly beautiful. For an observer, it is dangerous. When cold analysis fails, and the hand draws not outlines on paper, but a quiet obsession, the only logical conclusion becomes fire. After all, feeling is chaos introduced into a perfect formula, and the evidence... must be destroyed.

Akahito infuriates him in a way he never thought possible. Or: Kuronushi has long been nursing a burning hatred for Akahito, one that was met only with polite indifference; yet when Kuronushi finally decides to take action against the other poet, he comes to the realization that he may have... slightly misread Akahito's feelings, and perhaps even his own.
