Will is living in NY, His old friends come to visit him, and Mike still has an effect on him. And for Mike, things haven’t changed so much that he's turned into a jerk with Carlton, Will’s new boyfriend. Of course, Mike will become aware of his feelings and confess them to Will, but before getting there, he’ll do a few embarrassing things—like getting drunk and making out with some random guy in a club bathroom, only to be discovered by Will himself!

Summary
The fic starts exactly from the last frame of episode 8, the closed basement door. On the other side, we find Mike, standing still, lost in thought through his tears. He heads to say goodbye to his friends, who are leaving through the back door leading to the Wheeler's garage (no lasagna for them!). Dustin, Lucas, and Max leave one by one, and Will, strangely, is taking longer and longer to get his bike, but Mike doesn’t mind that at all...
we have a very heart to heart moment between them. -

Questa piccola song fic nasce da due cose, primo dalla mia necessità di raccontare i sentimenti di Steve, soprattutto dopo aver rivisto The Winter Soldier ed essere stata colpita dall’espressione che fa Steve, dopo aver realizzato di aver visto Bucky, vivo e vegeto che ha tentato di ammazzarlo. Ecco, quell’espressione per me è meravigliosa e mi ha ispirato a mettermi a scrivere di nuovo di questi due. La seconda cosa, è stata l'ascoltare questa canzone dei Foo Fighters, “End over End” , penso che le parole siano perfette per la loro storia e la circolarità di questa canzone mi fa tanto pensare al loro che non fanno altro che perdersi e trovarsi e poi morire e rinascere, per perdersi di nuovo. Poveri amori.

He wanted to scream, the way he teased him when he clearly knew what Mike referred to. Fuck it. Worst thing was he said no. I just had to ask. “When you went off my lap and we were both fucking hard.” Mike noticed Will flinched at the tone in his voice. “When you leaned over to me.” Now Mike leaned toward Will’s ear. “And when you said.” He started to whisper, “You know I can help you with that.”
Goosebumps formed on Will’s neck.
“I’ve been thinking about that all evening.” He took Will’s earlobe between his lips. “I know you did too."Coming home from college for the winter break, the party meets to catch up, drink and have a fun time. In a game of truth or dare, Will has to give Mike a hickey, but in their drunken state they can't keep their hands from another and are turned on more than they should. After heated nights together, Will proposes to be friends with benefits, which definitely never brought anyone in trouble before...

“So,” Will prompts, when Mike still doesn’t offer up any information on the mysterious stack of papers tucked under his arm. “Are you having a party?”
“Oh, no,” Mike says, sounding like it might be the first time ever in his life that he is genuinely disappointed about this fact. He shifts and grabs the stack of flyers, sort of waving them through the air. “These are just for this game I play?” The inflection on the end of what should be a statement makes it sound more like a hesitant question.
“And in this one, you act like you’re… vampires?”
Or: To get out of the sexual rut he’s stuck in, Popular!Will gets dared to ask out Nerd!Mike and ends up attending a Vampire the Masquerade LARP where they proceed to put the ‘role-play’ into ‘live action role-play.’

A complete season 5 re-write/fix-it following TSTYK with a primarily byler focus set October 1989. While there are a few scenes/concepts from s5 that will appear, this is not just s5 rewritten to include byler.
