It hasn’t been all that long since that night at Hachiko. Not enough time for Neku to fall into a new routine.
Joshua says things around Eri that would give away the whole Game if she ever believed him, and manages to wriggle out of paying every time they've gotten food together since the first night. He's got enough social tact Neku's sure he knows every rule he's breaking, which is pretty much constant. The only reason he hasn’t successfully picked a fight with Beat yet is that even Beat can tell he’s doing it on purpose. He’s smarmy, capricious as hell, and just as Joshua as ever.
Neku couldn’t be happier.

After the events of Like A Butterfly, Joshua's still getting used to this whole "having friends" thing. And this whole "admitting you have feelings" thing. Neku's still adjusting to having Joshua in his life again, along with his still-fairly-new relationship status with Shiki and Beat. Sanae, meanwhile, is making plans to resume his side career that could use a Composer's endorsement. And then Kongming gets back from Kyoto. Life's never dull for fans of Shibuya's rising musical star and her manager.Series
