it starts off with a woman, Helen Smith, looking for her lost child, Olivia Smith. Helen was wandering around the streets of Detroit waving missing posters of her lost child. She was raving how she looked away for one second and somehow her child disappeared in a pizzeria 2 years ago and how her daughter would be nine today. Everyone on the streets either ignored her or looked at her with pity.
Helen warns everyone to never look away from your own child or else theirs disappears as well.

It had been happening more and more often as childbirth approached. The only thing that seemed to help was the grounding touch of his two alphas.
"Shhh," Sung Hyunjae murmured from in front of him, one hand coming up to stroke Han Yoojin's cheek. His other hand rubbed over Han Yoojin's belly, soothing and possessive. "Relax, Yoojin-ah.
