“—Mhm, mhm.” Gold Ship nods again, writing something on the back of a medium cup. “Smart choice, mhm. So… both orders to go… cool. It’ll be 9 dollars; you can pay Nakayama.”
“B-but I didn’t even…” McQueen’s protest dies in her lips as the silver-haired uma turns around with both cups and changes places with the barista. She looks to the side, giving Ryan a questioning look that’s only answered by a shrug and an apologetic smile.
Nakayama opens the cash register and stares at her like it’s her fault that she’s now in charge of the money.
“… I’m sorry?”

Summary
"Wait a moment while your request is reviewed." Gold Ship's tone is gentle, just like the touch against her lips. McQueen is certain that she's going to die from the heat traveling down her neck, but the other girl seems oblivious to her imminent demise.
A few seconds pass where neither girl says anything, merely looking into each other's eyes until finally Gold Ships breaks the standstill.
"Aha!" Gold Ship exclaims, taking a step back and leaning against the threshold, one arm extended towards the room. "One Mejiro MaKween has been granted access to the facilities."
It's the casualness of it all what really throws her off sometimes. Touching, grabbing, lifting, carrying, spinning (she's still not happy about that one); McQueen remains a too willing victim to Gold Ship's sudden whims and by the end of the latter's latest bit it's the mejiro's turn to play the annoyed part. And so, she does.

The goth blinks. The hand that was going to put the last pin onto the vellum that would secure the wing of her Acronicta americana now lays frozen as her brain tries to come up with something to say.
"What?" The fact that her first instinct is not putting Enid's intelligence into question is truly a testament of how much love she harbors for the blonde werewolf.
