Yes, the limited confines of the Crab were perfect for a vampire, but maybe not for a werewolf. Someone who becomes an animal that needs to move around and hunt and do other outdoorsy and animal stuff other than destroying their recently crocheted blankets.
Living the the crab together, Robotnik and Stone always plan around Robotnik’s need for blood, without fail.
Unfortunately, that can’t be said about the full moon.

Summary
Robotnik surreptitiously watched as his henchman prepared their lunch with his deft hands. Those long fingers were mesmerizing. Robotnik shook himself out of it, trying to ignore the warmth creeping into his cheeks.
He had become increasingly aware of his preoccupation with Stone’s hands and was struggling with what it meant. During his recovery, one of the first things he became aware of was Stone’s hands. Bringing food to his mouth. Wiping his brow when he developed a fever. Stone’s hands were the first thing his skin felt after being removed from the body cast, the sensitive nerves all a-jangle but for Stone’s gentle treatment.
Once he was well enough to take care of himself, Stone had resumed his professional distance and respected Robotnik’s personal space. It was only now Robotnik realized how much he missed those hands.Bookmarked by ReallyQuestionmark

On the video feed before him was a man – the top half of one, at least. Starting at his waist, his dark brown skin slowly turned iridescent grey, flecked with brown and black spots. Instead of legs, a long and powerful tail fluttered in the water, ending in two broad, flat fins.
Robotnik could count on one hand the number of times he had been rendered speechless. Seeing the merman before him, with his own two eyes, had now joined that very short list.
