"Did you see that move, Julian!" Ricky turned his body completely sideways, pressing his leg into Julian's thigh, eyes wide, arm pointing at the TV. Julian smiled at him nodding along, the thought of kissing him briefly flashing through his mind.
They had kissed once before, Ricky, a little bit too high, Julian, a little bit too tipsy. A soft kiss in the dark of the night, pressed up against Julian's grandmothers' trailer after Ricky had said Julian was too much of a pussy to kiss anyone.

A few disclaimers (and spoilers) before:
Imminent death is the major theme of this fic, but nobody will actually die. Still, be careful, if this kind of topic is upsetting to you.I also ask you to suspend your disbelief for a bit. Both guys are dumb and go on wrong and illogical assumptions, which don't really make sense. I got major inspo from the TPB pilot movie and Out of the Park - USA, as you can probably tell.
If you get the super fucking obscure reference I've put in there, you... well you win nothing, but it means you're way too invested in that franchise, just like me.
This is a slow burn fic in four chapters, I hope you like it!
