When the Rogues are back in the States after being pardoned, the New Avengers want nothing to do with them and as far as Tony is concerned, if he never speaks to them again, it'll be too soon. After all, he didn't spend the last year putting himself (and his family) back together only for his former co-workers to ruin all of his hard work.
But then he gets a hand-written letter from the Winter Soldier himself, apologizing for the events that transpired and an off-handed comment from Rhodey about Rogers failing to take care of an obviously miserable Bucky Barnes sets in motion Tony's new, oh-so-evil plan to get some payback.
After all, what better revenge than to steal the Winter Soldier away from his best friend?
The only problem: Tony sucks at being vengeful, but apparently he's an expert at inadvertently falling in love.

Summary
Tony knew better than to play with alien toys. He really did. But there was just something so tempting about other-worldly objects. It turned out that he wasn't the only Tony Stark that felt that way. One explosion later, there's a brand new Tony in town. But there's something not quite right about this Tony and how he reacts to the team, the way he flinches away from Bucky or shakes when Steve picks up the shield or won't turn his back to Clint and Natasha.
It turns out that not every Tony Stark is as lucky as Tony, but damned if Tony, Steve and Bucky aren't going to fix that.

Episode II: The Calm in the Mirage: Ten years ago a promise was made between Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi and Queen Padmé Amidala. Now Master Kenobi and Senator Amidala will come to honour it, amid the Military Creation Act Crisis which will lead to the Clone Wars.
Episode III: The Sapphire Shaft: On the eve of the Clone Wars, dangerous evidence was discovered which had the potential to plunge the Republic into a time of darkness. Three years later, the Loyalist Committee, together with a secret crade of Jedi Councillors, fight to prevent the Sith from realising their revenge.
Episode IV: Before The Altar: Emperor Palpatine's empire is fourteen years old when his political career comes full circle as he elects to involve himself in the sovereignty decision of his home planet, Naboo.

He glanced at Deku out of the corner of his eye, watching his fiancé mutter to himself as he fiddled with the buttons at his collar. The dork was wearing a polo and a sweater vest—opting for jeans instead of khakis. He looked like a total dweeb. Katsuki's heart clenched in his chest and he turned back to the mirror—this time to apply eyeliner as he fought the urge to kiss his fiancé senseless.

Katsuki's mother requests—nay, demands—his presence at her shitty garden parties so that he can help her woo investors. Deku, the angel that he is, agrees to go with him. Thank god his friends are willing to be there so that his precious, anxious dork of a fiancé will be around people he's comfortable with.
At least...he thought he was comfortable with them.
