Siren snorted. “No. I’m just here to order some food.”
“Wh-What about him?” The cashier asked, glancing at Tommy. “Did you- did you kidnap him?”
“I mean… yeah, let’s go with that in case this ends up on the news,” Siren shrugged, looking back at Tommy. “I kidnapped you, right?”
“Yeah, sure,” Tommy agreed, knowing that if they said he was kidnapped, it would keep people from getting suspicious of why he was seen in public with Siren. “Anyway, can I get the chicken nuggets happy meal, with a coke?”
or, how Tommy—who is not a hero, or a villain, or even a vigilante—saves the life of one of L'Manberg's most feared supervillains, and accidentally ends up becoming the resident doctor for every supervillain in town (and maybe gets a family along the way too).

The steady roar, the lapping of the water at her toes as she stands by the shore, overlooking the rolling waves as the ships come into port. The cry of the gulls far overhead, and the cool spray as it crashes against the rocks—she knows them like she knows her own heartbeat. It calls to her, in the way that it calls to every sailor who spends their life on her waters.

Summary
Charles knew after the beach nothing would be the same, he never imagined how bad it would go. With so few allies and no legs time took a toll. Hank stayed to help as best he could but under the pressure of growing uncertainty no government would risk leaving a telepath out of their reach.
Erik knew the beach was a turning point in history, the world knew about mutants and humans are never good with change. He does his best to protect every mutant he finds, forming the brotherhood and storming research facilities over the world to free his people.
They both never thought they'd see each other again unless on a new battlefield, until Erik finds a file labeled C. Xavier.
