Summary
Just days before the Scouts retake Wall Maria, Erwin Smith decides to make one last bet before their lives might be changed forever by whatever secrets lie in the Jaeger basement.
Levi Ackerman has always been focused on becoming the best Captain the Scouts have ever seen. As one of the most skilled officers in the Survey Corps, he's never had time for extracurriculars like relationships, let alone love, and the one person he's ever even thought he could love will surely never see him that way.
Erwin Smith is a betting man. Most of the time the gamble plays out in his favor but the one risky bet he's not sure will go through is the one for Levi's heart. He's always known deep down that Levi was his, even if only for a night. But will one night be enough for him?
With time running out and lives on the line, the Scouts will need to decide what they're willing to sacrifice in order to fulfill their dreams.
