He opens his eyes and turns on the faucet, splashing cold water on his face. He rubs it in feeling the sudden coldness wake up his senses. He raises his head and wipes the water off his face and looks in the mirror. It's dark in the bathroom, he never flipped the switch. But moonlight, like a blanket, wrapped itself around the room.
What was that?
No.
His mind is just playing a trick on him. It's just the Moonlight.He could have sworn,for just a brief moment his eyes glowed silver. Shimmering like a silvery pool. He smashed his eyelids closed as tightly as he could.
He opened them again and saw nothing. Just normal honey gold.
