Hannibal leaves Baltimore post Mizumono but without Bedelia, he is living in Vienna working as a classics professor and not coping as well as he hoped when he is brazenly attacked and hospitalised. Will is listed in his mostly empty burner phone as his emergency contact. Will he decide to come to Hannibal's bedside half way across the world? Or is the pain that Hannibal has caused still too fresh?

He’s gone to great lengths to ensure he would remain until you were no longer occupied, and he has many other things to attend to before his day concludes. Shall we?”OR

That last word was practically choked out, a rare, bruised admission of need that Aerion would undoubtedly make him pay for once the heat was over.
