Summary
“For the month I’ve been gone, you’re a lot bolder."
Immediately, Dennis was blushing again. Hard. Anything that previously came out of Robby’s mouth was tame compared to this charged tension in the room that Robby wasn’t even in. How did he always seem to do that?
Before Dennis could open his mouth to respond, Robby chuckled and asked, “Have you been holding back from me, Whitaker?”
OR
The first time Robby called Dennis on his sabbatical, Dennis didn't think much of it. That was until he kept calling, and Dennis always kept answering. Before he knew it, Dennis was calling him, and shit. He was in a talking stage with his boss.

Summary
Dennis Whitaker has been a vampire since 1957 and a medical student at the Pitt for nearly a year. He's been stealing expired blood from the hospital to survive, carefully hiding what he is from everyone. Then his attending, Dr. Michael Robinavitch, catches him.
Instead of reporting him, Robby helps Dennis get legal access to blood donations. They grow closer. Dennis falls hard. Robby falls harder. Both of them are too scared to do anything about it.
Turns out being dead for sixty-seven years doesn't mean you can't find love. Who knew.Series

Summary
Work is exhausting, and Dennis almost falls asleep in the car on the drive home, jerking himself awake as they pull up outside the house.
Jack’s enjoying his first day off in a week or so when they walk in, feet up, sprawled in front of the TV.
Dennis wastes no time in joining him, curling up with his head in Jack’s lap as he feigns interest in whatever show he’s watching.
It’s obvious how truly drained he is, eyes a little glassy, and it’s only a matter of minutes before his breathing has evened out, lashes resting still against flushed cheeks, dead to the world.

Summary
Vampire Au where Dennis Whitaker has to protect Dr. Robby from the vampires who work the night shift in The Pitt.
-//-
Dennis had been more than warned about not staying behind in the ER. Do your work, clock out, not a second more. Even in the middle of emergencies they were just told to drop everything and leave. Once the last sunlight hits the window they should not be near The Pitt. They treat the patients to the best of their capabilities, try to get them good enough to be released from the hospital by the end of the day. If they don’t manage too, then the night staff takes care of it, however they seem fit.
There were rules, Dennis knew better than to not follow them. But when Dr. Robby gets into a motorcycle accident all the reason falls off the window.

Summary
Robby gripped the back of Dennis’s shirt like he feared he would float away. The touch was wild against Dennis’s senses. Every point of contact felt electric and all consuming. Robby’s pulse ran like a rabbit in his chest and Dennis could feel it like a live wire sending shocks throughout his body.
His mouth watered and the rawness returned to his gums. His fangs itched for something soft to tear into. His fingers pressed into Robby’s lower back as he exhaled against the old man’s chest. For the first time since he had been hit, the vampire felt no pain- only eagerness.
______________Whitaker dies on the job and Dr. Robby is perplexed when no one seems to remember. Even more so that, according to everyone, Dennis went home after his shift ended- alive and well…
