Summary
So this was a dream and I figured it sounded neat. It takes place in No Way Home, where a Venom symbiote was already in NYC due to things I didn't reconcile. Here, it is attached to someone named Galen Reed, and this person is the child of Rosaline Reed. They attach to the symbiote early in NWH, and then the events occur and are sort of re-hashed but also partially summarized (spoilers, duh).
It is definitely a testament to my brain's obsession with Otto Octavius (2004). There is NO romance, NO sexual content. There are fights depicted, but no outright horror show stuff. I do not own any of the characters.

Summary
"You truly know me, don't you?" Silco said this as if he was joking, sneering all the while, but Vander could hear the resignation in it.
"I know what you hate." Because that includes me, Vander thought in the safety of his head. He couldn't get himself to say it out loud.
(Silco leaves Jayce and Viktor's apartment after they drop the alternate universe bomb. Vander finds him, and they have a talk. They work most of it out, for once.)

Summary
Something clicks inside Vander, then. That one sentence alone thrusts Silco’s intentions into the spotlight, from behind the dark fog of facades and carefully-worded phrases. Silco isn’t here to reconcile with Vander. He’s here to recruit him. To drag Vander back into his tornado of chaos and destruction.

"So, maybe you've found your home here in Gotham. At least it's not that far, compared to Kansas." Bruce's voice is smooth and steady, his tone low.
It's hard to keep a straight face at that.
Clark's lips curve into a fond smile as he chuckles and shakes his head, leaning back against his seat, a hand rubbing across the nape of his neck.
"Yeah. Maybe I have. The coffee's great here. And the company is really nice." Clark offers a smile as he meets Bruce's eyes, holding his gaze for a beat too long before returning it to his pie.
He doesn't miss the way Bruce's heart rate stutters at his comment.

Or, Clark Kent can't do one night stands, and Bruce is just his usual human disaster.(This story officially ends at Chapter 5.
