When Alex is rescued from almost certain death by a supposedly dead man, the next action seems clear: say thank you, check that he wasn’t bleeding out, and make a quick exit. Of course, MI6 has a habit of complicating matters.

Summary
Alex tried everything to stop General Sarov, but in the end, he failed.
