“What are you doing?” Mack asks, eyeing the scoop of protein powder Will’s precariously holding in one hand as he works to open a bag of frozen blueberries with the other.
“Uhm, making my smoothie?” Will says it like a question, like Mack’s asking him something stupidly obvious. He dumps the powder in, watching it land with an unceremonious splat against the large scoop of yogurt he’s already put in.

It starts off innocent, really. They’re getting to the point in the season where their summer bulk is almost a forgotten memory between the late nights and grueling games. It’s nothing new, hockey players fluctuate throughout the season, if anything it’s normal.

The world narrowed to the palm of Mack's hand moving in a precise, measured rhythm, to his scent – clean sweat after a workout, with an underlying hint of something woodsy. "Please, what?" – Mack insisted. His voice was hoarse, but there was a note of teasing in it. He didn't speed up, didn't slow down, playing his game. His fingers moved with dizzying skill, finding sensitive spots Will didn't even know he had.

Summary
Shane tried to snap at the bear’s muzzle, but he found his sharp teeth did nothing as the bear merely dragged his wet tongue over Shane’s much smaller, pointed face.
Appearing satisfied with his work on Shane’s back and neck, the bear tried to coax Shane to flip around, showing off his belly.
There was nothing the much smaller hybrid could do as the bear overpowered him and pinned him down with his soft belly completely exposed.
The bear let out a happy rumble as he began lovingly grooming Shane’s belly. The brute was showing surprising care as he thoroughly cleaned Shane’s fur.------------
Fox hybrid Shane is separated from his family during a storm and found by grizzly bear hybrid Ilya. Shane's relief that Ilya won't eat him is short lived when he realizes that the bear has other plans for him.
