    “Shh. No! My dear boy, you’re being silly. I agreed to it, didn’t I? It’s the right thing to do.”
    Crowley stares. His mouth flattens into a line.
    “You hate it.”
    “No, no.”
    “You do.”
    “I most certainly do not.”
    “You—“
    “I just wish I had told you. Before everything… ended.”

    At the true end of the world, in a bookshop-slash-garden, Aziraphale and Crowley steal a little more non-existent time to have one last conversation that reaffirms what they are: a team, a group of the two of them. An 'us'.

    (Or: my take at the missing scene that should have been in the finale, had the runtime it not been shortened.)

    The galaxy was crackling into existence in colors he never knew even existed, too pretty and too terrifying to classify. He can't paint in colors he can't name, he can't record the sound the Nebula makes when it explodes into being.

    He can taste the bitter disappointment when his companion tells him, it'll only run for 6000 years. And his companion, oh he's an Angel. And he's gorgeous and Anthony squirms in his sleep. He wants to befriend, he wants to love, he wants to touch...

    Unceremoniously, Anthony jolts awake, just as he always does before he can get anywhere new in the dream.

    His entire body is coated in sweat, and he blinks several times, and rubs the chills from his arms.

    He was lonely for someone he's never met.

    To the great surprise of the humans Anthony and Asa they both start dreaming of alternate versions of each other before they even go on their first date. As they grapple between confusion and their doubts of the existence of a previous life, they learn that they actually fit quite nicely together. But they have a mystery to solve when they realize the dreams are the same!

    A short autumn- and Winnie-the-Pooh-flavoured story in which Crowley somehow inadvertently moves in with Aziraphale, neither of them notices it, until they do.

    Crowley’s saunter seemed off. Aziraphale had no other way to put it. Over 6,000 years he was used to the demon’s swaggering step, but the steps seemed more uneven than usual. There were several times he had to casually step aside to make more room so they didn’t run into each other.

    And his walk was slower than usual, too. Usually the energetic demon walked a few steps ahead and it was all he could do to keep up. Aziraphale slowed down too, choosing to comment on the new restaurants nearby he wanted to try, taking a moment to pause and point those out so Crowley could keep pace without calling attention to it.

    By the time they reached the park, Aziraphale found he couldn’t hold it in any longer.

    “Are you sure you’re quite alright, dearest?”
