Miguel O’Haras been having a bit of a rocky relationship with your mom as of late. You’d think this being his second marriage and all that he would have figured out marriage isn’t all that easy. Especially when you’re starting to not like your wife. It should be easy enough to leave. They both make a steady income and it’s not like they have children or pets they need to figure out. Yes, you’re his step-daughter but it’s not like you guys are close or anything. He started dating your mom after you graduated high school and you were in the middle of college by the time they got married. You’re a full grown adult, you don’t need Miguel to play daddy for you. So, in theory, there’s nothing tying him to your mother. That is, of course, until you had to go and make things complicated.
