Summary

“Hey, Skary.”
The Bard felt herself melt at her girlfriend’s nickname for her. Any sense of apathy or even mild irritation immediately left her, like a ghost being excised from her body.
(Skara would know. She had to have an exorcism herself. Twice.)
She couldn’t tell which was sweeter; the naturally gentle, soothing sounds of Willow’s voice, the additional tinge of sleeplessness that acted as a cuteness amplifier, or the nickname itself, changing one letter to turn Skara’s dull name into a wonderful silly melody.
Or maybe it was just Willow’s... everything.

It was a Monday after school when Amity’s heart started to crack.
A ringing began in her pointed ears as her breath hitched. The words that had just come out of her crush’s mouth couldn’t be true. She couldn’t have heard her properly. It had to be a mistake.
“Wh-what?” Amity asked, barely able to contain the shock in her voice. “What did you just say?”
Luz placed a hand on the back of her neck and rubbed, sheepishly blushing and avoiding eye contact with any of her friends. “I...I kinda, sorta, really have a thing for Em,” she repeated.
